Biswa Odissi Utsav 2027

Conceptualized and launched in 2010 by arts critic Shyamhari Chakra, the Biswa Odissi Utsav (also widely known as Odissi International) has grown into a landmark annual homecoming for the global Odissi dance community. Organized by Samskritiki in association with the Odissi International Forum, the 17th edition celebrates the elegance, spiritual depth, and timeless grace of Odissi. Over three intensive days, artists spanning age categories—from young prodigies under 10 to distinguished global exponents—converge in the cultural heart of Bhubaneswar to present solo, duet, and group choreographies, fostering cultural exchange and nurturing the next generation of classical soloists.
