Natya Bharata: Ramakien is a cultural performance presented as part of IIC Experience 2026, exploring the historical and cultural connections between India and Thailand through two celebrated literary traditions: the Indian Ramayana and the Thai Ramakien.
Although both traditions share a common narrative foundation, each has evolved distinctive characteristics shaped by its own cultural identity, artistic traditions and interpretations. The performance explores these connections through a creative presentation celebrating the shared cultural heritage of the two countries.
The event is organised in collaboration with the Emerging North-East Eco Forum (ENEEF) and the Thai-Bharat Cultural Lodge (Association). It is scheduled for 1 November 2026 at 6:30 PM at Fountain Lawns, India International Centre, New Delhi, and is open to all.
